Like Lewis and Clark on an adventure, we explored deeper into the depths of the old mill.... finding treasures and trinkets untold. Seeing things I've never seen before. The documentation of my findings are soon to come. Treasures untouched for over 100 years, Archeological finds of human history, and craft. An  unknown artists hands, that work the machines of the past.

Who is Mr Brainwash?

After watching Exit Through the Giftshop 3 times in 24 hours I have been trying to figure out if he is real or not. And its kind of like who came first the chicken or the egg? And why is Banksy so sexy even though you never see his face?

I was turned onto Barbara Kruger when my Intro to Digital Photography teacher (I think his name was John, will get back to you on that) introduced me to her, told me to look her up and I did.

Okay enough with all the distractions and clutter! I have until December 9th to get my portfolio ready and quality enough to graduate. This has been huge, and playtime is over. Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and I give so much thanks for all that I have!

I plan to paint these frames, a project I started this summer in July. As always, the procrastinator in me hasn't quite gotten around to it yet. I want to paint them a creamy sand color, with a shabby chic crackled texture. The photos placed in the frames will be of my own photography inspired by the beaches of Maine and the ocean culture of the northeast San Juan Islands. I was fortunate to spend time in both coasts of beautiful America this summer, visiting family I don't see often enough.

Have been working very hard, and it has been making me a dull girl. But, I have a richness and complexity to my life that I can hardly complain about.
